Hey Everyone!!!! i didnt see a thread for NCC spring 2015 nursing program, so i figured i start one. Anyone plan on applying for spring semester?

You could also share some insight if you're already in the program. Like how the application process was for you and your gpa as well as TEAS scores. im sure any info would be helpful.

teas was a 65.3 not too good, however I pray its good enough. really couldn't shell out another hundred dollar for a re-take :(

65.3 is good! They only look at 58.7 & up.

dont worry mine was a 67.8 Proficient, just as long as you score proficient and above then you should be considered

I also applied for the Spring 2015 program. I will search through previous threads but does anyone know how the interview process goes? Is one accepted/rejected based off of the prereqs, gpa, and TEAS score, or will this letter we are all waiting on inform us all of a formal interview that must be conducted first? All this time I've been expecting a letter for a formal interview unaware that this letter may be a simple acceptance or rejection letter. Now I am so nervous!

I believe that the letter will state whether you're accepted or rejected based on your prereqs and gpa. Everyone who is accepted will be interviewed.

Did anyone else send their teas scores through the ati website or did you just hand in a hard copy along with the app?

I took my test at NCC. When I handed in my application, I had my printout of my TEAS score too and the receptionist in the nursing office said they did not need the copy since I took my test there

Ok thank you! I took it at ncc as well and that's what I thought but I was just having a panic attack bc I didn't hand one in

Lol I insisted take my TEAS score too she said it wasn't necessary they will have it already. You are fine! I'm calling the dept in the morning to confirm when they will be mailing out the letters. The wait is nauseating!!

I called the office this morning. We should be receiving our letters by next week. The letter will also have a date for an interview the receptionist stated.

yeah the receptionist told me it was a good score...I've heard so many stories that it scares me. Wishing us all the best!
