Nassau Community College Nursing program Spring 2017

I didnt see a thread for spring 2017 so I thought I should start one. I would be applying for nassau's nursing program and would like to know who else would be applying and what your stats are. Also I was told by the nursing department that the soonest we would hear if we were accepted/rejected wouldnt be until the first week in december. Im so nervous as this is my second time applying and hope to not get rejected once again. The first time I applied back in march i did not have any classes done but had already started taking classes towards nursing pre reqs so Im very nervous and would like to hear from anyone who has applied previously or will be applying.

I got rejected and my grades are

Eng101 - A

Psych101 - A

Statistics - A-

A&p1 - B

Eng102- A

Chemistry - B

Lifespan development - A

Currently taking a&p2 at another college

My TEAS is 74.5 reading, 81.3 math and 79.2 english

I called and they told me my grades were not good enough so i will try again

Just called admissions. They said they don't even have me on file as an applicant because my "admissions status is incomplete" due to not having my FINAL SEMESTER grades at my current school (which is literally IMPOSSIBLE to retrieve being that it's still going on?!?!?!?!?!). Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Admissions department transferred me to the Nursing department head to speak with her but she did not answer the phone.

I'm so upset right now, I'm not even sure what to really do...

Congratulations to everyone that got in. I don't think I'll be joining you guys unfortunately.

I have an A in, A&P, bio ethics, lifespan, rock (it counts), B+ in English comp, C in stats, and I'm retaking psych which I got a C In. Right now I have a 3.53 with credits at Nassau that apply to nursing and I'm taking AP2 and medical micro next semester. If I get an A in psych, I'll have a 3.58 with all my classes including transfer. If I get an A in psych, I'll have a 3.84 with Nassau credits. Whats a realistic teas score I need to get? And does it help being a man? I was told it does, but I don't believe it, I'm curious if that's true.

Hi guys. Did anyone go to the orientation yesterday? Unfortunately I was not able to make it í ½í¸”. What did they talk about? Also is anyone in section C3? What hospital are we assigned to?

Hi guys! I know it's been a while since anyone has posted in here, but I have a question for everyone that got in--does anyone know what service learning project they're going to be doing? I'm trying to figure something out and I really can't think of anything. Any examples of what you all might be doing would be greatly appreciated!

Hello I too I am trying to get into Nassau and was student at Helen fuld collage and I did not pass I had two more nursing courses left to take😞 I spent the last year feeling sorry for myself and now I am ready to get off my ass and become a RN. If their is anyone who can help me so I can get in please feel free to contact me.

Well it's going to be hard road because I tried going back after being out for just about almost 2years and they said I can't I have to start all over
