Nassau Community College Nursing program Spring 2017

Published

I didnt see a thread for spring 2017 so I thought I should start one. I would be applying for nassau's nursing program and would like to know who else would be applying and what your stats are. Also I was told by the nursing department that the soonest we would hear if we were accepted/rejected wouldnt be until the first week in december. Im so nervous as this is my second time applying and hope to not get rejected once again. The first time I applied back in march i did not have any classes done but had already started taking classes towards nursing pre reqs so Im very nervous and would like to hear from anyone who has applied previously or will be applying.

I live in Ridge way way out east

I got mine today, I didn't get in :(

I applied as a transfer student through Admissions department. Currently I'm at laguardia cc. Still haven't received my letter of acceptance or rejection.

Can anyone maybe clear something up for me?

My admissions status is all green checked except for "Final Semester grades - Laguardia FA'17 when available"

Will that hinder my application process at all? Or do they just want to see what my final grades were for my current classes (microbiology and developmental psychology).

Here's my current stats:

A&P 2 B

PSYCH 1 A-

Eng A-

Statistics A-

I'm going to get a B or B+ in bio ethics and AP1

I'm enrolled in micro and ap2 next semester. I have a bachelor's from Stony brook and I'm anot EMT and a nursing assistant in the ER in a hospital and I live in nassau. When I talk to the people from the program, they said focus on your TEAS and I should be good. What do I need to get on my TEAS?

I think it depends on the pool of applicants for that semester I got 78 in English 75 in math 62 in language but had all required courses done except ethics
