Any one applying for Nursing at NCC for Fall 2018?
Hey I wasn't addressing you. And yes everyone should do what they love or love right now. With that said this is a serious program and some research should be done before applying because it does make the school and program look bad when students drop out. We all have commitments true however know your limits before you get there. Thank you. How was the information session?
The information session went well. Per the chair person and the admissions director, there are only 96 seats this coming semester. 64 for the Day and 32 for the Evening. Recommended that it is best that you complete all non-nursing courses goes first, although it is not a requirement for entry into the program. March 23, 2018 is the deadline for Fall admissions. We should be notified by end of April if we are accepted or not.
Applied for Fall '18 admission evenings after being denied from Suffolk since I'm a Nassau resident.

I'm just looking into Nassau since I was pretty confident I was going to go to Suffolk until I was denied... can anyone point me in the direction of Nassau's rubric so I can calculate my score?
Thanks!
Session was good, not as crowded as previous ones I attended. There are 64 seats for the day and 32 for the evening. When calculating the points, the admissions representative said that they go to the hundredths of a point, talk about competition!
My only option is to apply for the evening, fingers crossed that everyone in this thread is accepted!!

Logic, I am not sure if you're speaking specifically to me or not. However, people are entitled to make mistakes and try again at anything. So to tell someone you do not know, that they should not take the space and give the chance to anyone else is completely unacceptable. If someone has a 4.0 and wants to apply to nursing, let them! If a person who was in the program already and had circumstances beyond their control that caused them to stop out and they want to try again, let them. And lastly, as adults, we all have commitments beside school.
