I just got accepted into the spring 09 day program at nassau, and i just wanted to know what should i expect as in regards to the professors and the work load?
hey willbesuccessful,
I wanted to know if you did the advance standing to get into NUR105 for the fall 08. I have my patient performance exam scheduled in about 2 wks. I wanted to know if you can give me any pointers.
How often did you practice for the exam?
Was it difficult?
Easy to make a mistake and fail?
Were the instructors harsh?
Did you finish everything by the end of April?
Was it very competivive to get accepted?
I know i'm asking a lot of questions but i'm freaking out and want this REALLY, Really BAD!
Hello NCC grads! I just received my letter today stating I am tentatively accepted pending an interview. I caught some posts here about the interview that it is very brief, groups of 40 get together and then you meet individually. Are you basically accepted if you get this letter or is the interview very serious? I was also accepted to Farmingdale and have made a schedule there already however it is not pretty! I don't know what school I want to go too. I live in Eastern Nassau county so Farmingdale is closer, but NCC's passing rates are better. NCC is also cheaper too, anyone have any more pros or cons for me??
Well anyways if anyone can give me a little more info on the interview I'd appreciate it. My appointment is for May 18th!

Hello willbesucessful,I didn't get to read your response, just only my quote. My patient care performance exam is tomorrow. any pointers about the exam and the process.
willbesuccessful's post was simply an email address. It's against the terms of service at allnurses.com to post email addresses in public view. willbesuccessful has set "accept email from members" as a preference so you may email by clicking on the user name then click on the envelope symbol. Be aware that by doing so you will then have shared your personal email address with that member. Good luck with your exam.
I just got my "tentative acceptance letter" letter. The interview is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19 9:00am. Anyone that has gone through the process please post on what it was like. What was the essay topic? Are the vocabulary words written or part of the oral interview? Please give as many details as you can!
