Hi everyone, I haven't seen any post for the Spring 2022 yet, so I decided to create one.
How's everyone going? Mine got stamped at 9:01 ? I'm so nervous.
I received a non acceptance letter that said I qualified but they received over 200 applicants this year. My time stamp was 0900 so not sure how I didn’t get a seat if people after 0900 did. I don’t care because I am in SRJC’s program right now but I know how much this means to people… if you got 0900 I would call and ask how they selected people because it obviously isn’t first come first serve.
Same here I haven’t heard back, When 9:03 AM got acceptance I knew something was wrong. Seems like they are not going based on time and it’s based on some thing else since they got over 200 students applying. This is not right it was always about timestamp if they are not following that it’s very unfair to all the people that waited for hours at the post office to get the stamp
I have a question guys…..how come these 9 o’clock people who got rejected don’t have emails instead saying they are alternates. Does the alternate email come later?
Also who should we all contact if we feel they are going out of order because that’s not fair at all and this seems to be the first year it has happened.

I would think to contact the director of the program I was denied do you repeating a course then was told I could have did a renewal to make my chances of getting in better

The people who have gotten non acceptance “letters” are through emails! In the emails, the option of being an alternate is included in the initial email. I don’t know exactly who to contact. I’m guessing (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME)
My non acceptance letter did come with the option to be an alternate, sorry I didn’t say that. I would call the admissions office and talk to the person who handles applications and ask her if it is first come first serve. Super messed up and I’m sad for all of you that had 0900 and somehow didn’t get in.
