Napa Valley College ADN Program Spring 2022

Hi everyone, I haven't seen any post for the Spring 2022 yet, so I decided to create one.

How's everyone going? Mine got stamped at 9:01 ? I'm so nervous.

It doesn’t take a genius to qualify for this program. It states very simple requirements to get in and I am sure 99.9% of us qualify….it has always been about the time stamp that’s why this program is so unique and great! Getting into the program is literally based off of how fast we can get our application time stamped.

Well It seems like the time stamp is not being taking to consideration  this year. Whoever received the acceptance letter with 9:03 time stamp.

I received a non acceptance letter that said I qualified but they received over 200 applicants this year. My time stamp was 0900 so not sure how I didn’t get a seat if people after 0900 did. I don’t care because I am in SRJC’s program right now but I know how much this means to people… if you got 0900 I would call and ask how they selected people because it obviously isn’t first come first serve. 

That could have been a mistake which I think has happened before..

If you don’t mind me asking did they mention why you weren’t accepted?

They said my application met all the requirements, but I was not chosen for the top 40. So I have the alternative option. I’m guessing there were just so many applicants because I was a 9:00 time stamp plus I sent another application in for a 9:01 time stamp & I guess it wasnt enough.

That doesn't make sense because someone with a 9:03 time stamp got accepted so they must not have done first come first served this application period

Yeah I’m not sure exactly how they are doing it, however, everything happens for a reason. I’m bummed but I’ll still fill out the alternative file. You never know! Good luck!

My friend submitted 2 applications last year and got in so she recommended I do that this year. It didn’t work for me though LOL

I got the alternative option and I was time stamped at 9:01am June 7th... So...Something is not right here...

Anyone here taking the alternative option?
