What does it mean ? I found it when I checkes my status online . I looked for "correspondance" and found it there. Still I do not get my ground mail from CGFNS, so does anybody ever heard about this?
Thanks,

It should mean that you completed the requirements for them to submit your documents to NY BON. NY is where you are applying for initial licensure isn't it?
Morning Suzanne!
Yes, I am going N.Y. route! That sounds good .
Thank you!

Its really difficult to get the ground mails sent by CGFNS. I found that CGFNS had sent me couple of ground mails more than a month ago but I have not received any, until today. I called them regarding this and the representative told that, they do not have control over mail delivary system and that's true. But mails from other places come in 2-3 days and mails from CGFNS hardly come within a month and most are lost.
I am glad to hear that I am not the only one...
I asked them to send everything by email or certified mail. And whenever I see "ground mail" I call them and they read it to me*gg*.
There is something strange going on. Are you sure, that they really print s.th. and put it into envelops? It would safe a lot of money not to do so.
They actually send thousands of pieces of mail out on a daily basis.
Please request that all notification be done by e-mail. :)

Yes, that is exactly what I did, but they do not like me anymore . So the keep on sending out ground mail and let me drive nuts *gg*.
Good to know that they do send out ground mail-but it is a mystery.
Sorry.

Im done with my CVS for NYstate 3 wks ago, it took me four months. My account at cgfns read : issued report (to NY board) and meets requirements for fields, Nursing Education and Licensing Authority. I did get an email from them saying they received correspondence. The next thing i did was complete form 1 of NY board and took the required child abuse course.
I guess that they are fast but my case is more complicated ( two nursing schools, 1 other prof.school). I have already filled out N.Y. forms and did the two courses. The only thing I have to do right now is waiting for an ATT letter (hopefully). For nurses from the Philip.it is easier anyway because your nursing education is similiar to the one in the U.S. but I am from Europe and our system is different. That is one reason why it takes them longer to evaluate.
