n.c. student w/3 duis (ncbon/clinicals)

Hello there,

I am pre nursing student, in nc, that has 3 duis (non felony). I am truly remorseful for my idiotic choices in the past and am commited to my sobriety. Since then I have been fully committed to changing my life, being a better person, living a healthy lifestyle and being a positive member of society. I have 3 straight years of sobriety and have been attending AA meetings at least three times a week over the past three years of which I've kept record of. I enrolled in college and have earned a 3.5 gpa in my pre nursing classes. I am looking for some feedback now that its time to apply to nursing school. Will I be able to be accepted into clinicals? Also can I be accepted by the ncbon? Again, I know my past acts are repulsive. I just am working hard to turn my life around and be in a rewarding field in which I can give. Thanks
