In one to two months I will be taking my exam, this thread is an online log to track my progress.I figure if I do it on my own, it will be most likely to FAIL. So Im here, taking all the risks. I know its hard to do it on my own, so I need some encouragements from everyone here (if possible).
So far, I gathered all the resources I need:
Books: LaCharity, Saunders, Kaplan and (to purchase) NCSBN online review.
Place; I mostly can focus on a not-too-noisy places, Library is one of my fave.
Lastly, to everyone who will be taking taking there exam this coming May or June,

I guess the only way to overcome it is by knowing the content, keep practicing, read question and answer carefully and look at the choices as true or false this totally sucks I feel like Im so close to making my dreams come true if I just work a little harder but honestly Im so sick of reviewing I just want to give up already. Im currently completing the readiness from kaplan Its so hard I had to pause the test after 40questions and just pray pray pray did the rosary, after that I lay down and put potato on my eyes cause they are so swollen I look like a zombie already.

Im doings questions daily and rereading notes and content.. I got 10 more days.. the SATAs are killing me. sucks Im usually over or missing at least 1 choice..
oh my i got 68% on the readiness kaplan 180q, questions were super hard (for me at least) i thought i would score 40% .. this gives my 97% chance of passing the nclex i'll definitely work on that 3% .. 9 more days to go before i face the biggest fear i had ever had in my life.
Don't give up on your review ok.? You still have plenty of time to catch up.. Go over your Hurst videos if you have to.. Watching it all over again won't hurt. Good Luck.!

I have not posted on here in a while, but I have been going to the classroom Kaplan Review and I love it! For some reason, the decision tree is really working for me so far. Tomorrow I take the readiness test which I am really nervous about.
Here are my scores so far:
Diagnostic: 61%
QT1: 71%
QT2: 63%
I still have the other qt's and the qbank stuff to do after the class is over, but I hope this is my time to finally pass this exam. I test on Sept 14th and my baby is due on Sept 17, gutsy, I know...but I really want to finish this testing before he gets here so that hubby and I can finally have time together and time with baby without this stressing us out. I think if by the time test day comes and I'm not ready, I will go ahead and reschedule out another week or two just to be sure I'm more ready.
I am still doing the NCSBN review, there is just so much content to go through, but I will at least get the exams done in that program to get my money's worth, I have access to that until the 7th and I plan to use it. This is so exhausting!!

I have pass the nclex too. Im so thankful I joined this log and met really awesome people. :) your kaplan scores are not bad. goodluck on your review. you got this.
I'm interested in joining the review logs for nclex-rn. I hope we can inspire and encourage each other in our review logs and reach our goal in becoming an RN.
I'm planning to rewrite the nclex-rn exam on Sept. I don't have my schedule date yet, but I'm planning to rewrite late Sept.
For this exam (late Sept), I'm going to use Kaplan On Demand Course-mainly focusing on Q-trainer and Q-bank. I hope i pass this time since in my previous exams i didn't do lots of Questions and focused mainly on Contents and failed the exams. Lets see how it
goes by doing questions (mostly) and reviewing contents on my weak areas.
I Already signed up Kaplan On Demand Course and finished watching Strategy Seminar, Test-Taking Workshop, Class Orientation, and Decision Tree.
I'm going to start Diagnostic Exam tomorrow! I will let you guys know how i did.
