My pockets are overflowing!

Ok, this is a silly question, but where do you carry all of your supplies for the day?

I always have hemostats, trauma shears, small scissors, tape, notepad, palm pilot, sharpies, pen, highlighter, & alcohol wipes with me in my pockets and my pockets feel like they have boulders in them! Where else can I put things to manage my load a little easier?

Has anyone tried the stethoscope "hip clip"? My neck is getting irritated/sore/strained from my stethoscope hanging off it all the time.

I had a hip clip but I lost it. It was nice but the steth sticks out of that too. I usually wear my steth when I'm rounding, otherwise it sits in the hallway hanging out of a wall-a-roo within easy reach if I need it. I can't stand the weight around my neck after an hour or two.

Has anyone tried the stethoscope "hip clip"? My neck is getting irritated/sore/strained from my stethoscope hanging off it all the time. I've tried curling it up and putting it in my left pocket, but it sticks out too much. I've seen the hip clip in the store but am afraid it will pull my pants down with it if I attach it to them.

I bought one, but haven't used it. As november551 wrote, the top of the stethoscope sticks out (up) at the top of the clip. It just didn't seem like it would be comfortable. I don't think it would pull your pants down, though. The clip itself is light weight & the steth doesn't add too much weight. Just be prepared to have the steth jabbing at your waist.

Edit: Apparently, I wasn't inserting my steth correctly:

I may have to try it & see how it works.
