Well, I will be taking the NET february the 8th at Hersing College, I have been studying for it since 1/12/07 i didn't have the HOBIT book, so i went and study based on what i was able to see at these websites wich i definately recomend!!!

After I was familiar with the content of the test, as per a Forum user i went to Eriworld and bought the HOBIT NET PRACTICE TEST, wich costs 15 dollars and allow you to take the NET as much as you want during the allowed access to the content wich is 1 week

So i went ahead and took the test, wich was not that bad I scored, 97 in math (missed only 1 question) and scored 84 in english,

my composite was 91% (929 points out of 1000), so therefore i gues it will be fine.

I will be taking the "real deal" feb 8th at 9 am, but there is something that i did not like at Hersing college, wich was the fact that:

Nurse adimission process-

-you take the wonderlic (my score was 24)

-you take the net (hopefuly i will do fine)

-After you take the net, you have (2 weeks and 2 weeks only) to come up with the necessary paperwork to enroll, (wich we have no idea of what it is since they will only let you know once you pass the net... and again 2 weeks to comeup with that!!!)

-the next step is your interview, (wich count points towards admission also) and she said it will be hard for me since i have no previous health care experience (C'mon that is way i am going to school -uuuhhh!!!)... but she also stated that once i haven been to any HCschool or anything like that, i have a good factor wich is that I have already taken A & P, Micro biology, Medical terminologi, and Psycology at high school (5 years ago) and passed them with A's, even though i will have to retake A&P, and Micro, she said that will be no proble....

- Now what really PISSES ME OFF IS :angryfire :

after you go trough all that CRAP

you have to sit and wait until the 2nd week of august to know if you were accepeted or not, than if so you have 2 weeks to come up with financial aid and all the rest!!!!

- so then she goes like, yeah... you should not set your expectations too high with us, because it is hard to get in the class, so you should go to other schools also, because we have 500 candidates for 30 openings...., pluss financial aid will not cover it all, and you have to come up with some money ... yada, yada , yada!!!

I was so mad at her! she was so F(word) unprofessional, and chewing gum!!!!

Despite all of that,

I went to Keiser University, Spoke to Andrea Melody, the advisor, that was "the nicest person i have ever spoken to at any school in my whole life!!!"...

Keiser will offer the nursing program, thes summer, or the latest fall 08, so there fore she assisted me with all I needed,

and i took the wonderlic again yesterday got the same 24 points!!!

she said that was enought, and with my transcripts and everything it would be just fine,

So i went ahead since i do not want to waste anymore time, i was accepted to their OTA program, wich has basicaly the same pre reqs as nursing, so i will take A&P 1 , algebra, and speach this semester, ans a&p 2 and micro on summer, in order not to waste anymore time,

I know i might have to take the NET again, when the Nursing program becomes available, but i feel a litle confortable, and will have to take the interview again for the nursing program, but...

once i get in, i will have most of my pre reqs done and then is HARD WORK!!!!! :specs:
