So the other night I had this lady who kept calling out for Phenergan, however when I went into her room she was chowing down on doughnuts and chips, so I refused to give her the Phenergan until she threw that stuff away. Anyway, came back out to the station and sat down. . . and this popped in my head.... It goes to the tune of "Just a Spoonful of Sugar" from the Marry Poppins Soundtrack....
Just a syringe full of Phenergan
Helps the doughnuts go down.
The doughtnuts go down,
The doughnuts go down.
Helps the doughnuts go down,
In a most delicious way....

Reminds me of this little piece of doggerel I came up with on a night shift near Christmas time about 10 years ago:
O Ativan (sung to the tune of "O Tannenbaum")
O Ativan, o Ativan,
How many are thy uses,
though you invite abuses.
Not only great, at sleepy time,
but when the patients start to whine...
how many are thy uses!

One of my faves is "Ativan, Ativan, also known as Lorezapam" sung to the tune of "Spiderman". Another is the catchline from the Offspring's Come Out and Play rephrased as "Ya gotta keep em all sedated"!
