It is a difficult decision becaue you have vested a lot of time into the pre-reqs thus far. I was in the same situation as you. I spent the past three years going to school in the evenings and completed over 60 units. After some disappointing application processes, I needed to move forward. I decided to go to an LVN school, knowing that I would be finished in less than 18 months. From there, I do plan on finishing my planned education and studying for my BSN. I am doing an evening LVN program. It is in the SF Bay Area.
Good luck in your decision.
