I had a job interview today on a busy Med/Surg floor. It's a ortho/telemetry unit. We also get peds patients that aren't too sick. At the end of my interview she said she would love to hire me! She just has to make it official by going through the recruiter. I am so excited!! I graduate May 9th and will start there on May 19th.
I will learn a TON on this floor. Can't wait............

congrats! I got my first job on a med-surg floor as well; been here for a year now, and am so amazed at what I have learned. Just remember that it may get hectic at times, and you may feel like ripping your hair out, but those are the days when you learn the most! Take every opportunity to learn that you have! Good luck!
