My First CNA Job!

Published

I am tickled pink! I got my first job as a CNA today! I applied at a local hospice and they called me and welcomed me on board! How cool is that? :smokin:

I know this sounds silly, especially for a 30-something woman, but I feel important, more important than I have ever felt before (except for when I obtained the important job of raising kids!)

I am so happy!:D

Congratulations! Welcome to the world of healthcare and medicine.

Don't feel like you are too old. After having worked in a 9-5 Monday through Friday world of office work all my life, I went to work as a CNA when I was 51.

I thought about going into nursing, but my major in school now is medical coding. I work in a hospital now.

If you are interested in nursing you are not at all too old to get into that.

I wish you the best of success!

Congrats!! I'm about to start working as a CNA myself and I'm very excited as well! I'm going to be floating around to different floors which is great because I just finished my first year of nursing school so I'll maybe find an area that I really like. Good luck and have fun:)
