Tonight I had the best birth ever!
It was my "first" as a practicing CNM (being an old labor nurse I've had hundreds)...
A perfect baby BOY! Screaming before he was out all the way!
Mom had no tears, the placenta came out nicely, no excessive bleeding!
Baby went to breast and nursed well within 20 minutes!!!
Mom got the birth she asked for. I am grateful to have been a part of it. Thank you, GOD.
Just had to let you know... maybe now I can sleep a little
Best part of all was I was working with a great team of nurses!!!

What a blessing. We have a mid-wife at our hospital & she is awesome!! So patient, loving & kind!! Be proud of what you do & I hope you have many more beautiful, amazing & inspiring births.
PS thanks for acknowledging your team - sometimes that means everything
