Hi colleagues! i just want to share my experienced on the training program offered by Capitol Medical Center. So i passed my application there last Oct.2013 and they called me for the entrance exam (nursing and psychological exam) The nursing exam part was more on like board exam type questions with matching type and problem solving part. after a week they called me again for the personal interview conducted by the Vice president of the Hospital. then the training program started Dec. and ended last Jan2014. it was a nice experience for me because we were able to rotate at the Emergency department of CMC and in the ICU floor and med-surgical wards of the hospital. the training cost 3000pesos and employment rate depends on your performance. Requirements are posted at the HR department of the Hospital. I cant post the number of the hospital here for personal reason and i do suggest to all of you to go there directly and inquire. next training program will be held on April and July/August. with regards to the GWA of your board exam, 78% is the minimum GWA requirement for the application. but 80% above GWA is better and have a higher chances to be called. Good luck RNs and God bless! :)
CMCC graduates can apply if 78% above, while other schools must be 80% above. CMC only hires from specific schools (Trinity, UST, CEU, UERM, FEU, PLM). There is no backer system. Pay is pretty good but has gotten smaller, and a minimum 3 months waiting time after the skills training for one month, to be hired as probee, then eventually a staff nurse.
@curiositywins11 I have already passed my requirements last April. I'm still waiting for their call. How was it when you passed your requirements? Did the HR people say anything about calling up applicants?
I haven't passed my requirements yet hopefully tomorrow because my IVT card is already available :) I'll ask them about the BST. You can also try calling their HR to ask the status of your application :)
There's no schedule yet for the next BST because it's already ongoing.. Mr. Pang told me to just pass my requirements at the HR. The HR personnel, told me that they'll just call me about my application, she was very nice and asked me my height, my weight and have written my board rating in pencil at the top part of my resume including my school. :) For those who haven't applied yet, here are the requirements:

Yes curiositytwins. I was talking about CMC. But do not get me wrong. I really like that place I had great time when I was there. Right now I am living in the small island of Guam.
