  1. If you want to be sure If a training center is AHA accredited, check this list from the AHA website. Enter Philippines in the drop down list. AHA - Global Connector
  2. We have been called in for the final interview (3rd interview for us) but we haven't been called in for the medical, which is around 3 and a half months after the skills training. The order they call in trainees for the medical is based on the batch ranking. What's good is I believe they hire everyone who underwent the skills, not unless you really screwed up, which is rare, but what differs is the waiting time. After passing the medical you will undergo a 10 days no pay status, then afterwards you will become casual and probee, with pay, for 6 months. All probees are placed in the medical wards, only after 6 months will they place you in specialty areas, and I believe they don't have sick/vacation leaves until 6 months. These were all told by me by a staff nurse when we had our training, so I'm not sure if policies have changed. They also recently changed their policies to "no work, no pay", meaning you don't get payed on your off days, basically a lower salary per month. They're already done with the initial interview for the 45th skills, and they're starting on the 21st.
  3. This is from Healthcare Advantage Institute in Pasig. I think most AHA accredited ACLS are around the 4000 peso mark, so this is pretty good if you're in Pasig. They have trainings every week.
  4. I belong to the 44th skills. I passed mine If I remember around early February and I received a text 2 weeks after for the IQ and nursing exam then another week for initial interview with the hospital director ( He's a surgeon and all he asks are questions regarding medical surgical nursing).
  5. They're currently interviewing applicants for the 45th skills training.
  6. For those who have been called, They will ask you to fill up an application form, then take an IQ exam, then HR interview (Basic questions regarding yourself and what you've written in the application form), then after lunch you have to take a 100 item Nursing exam (which was pretty hard by the way plus computations), then you will be scheduled days after for the final interview with the Nursing supers and chief nurse. And that's their whole screening. If you pass these, then they will call you for a one month interview one month prior their operation, in which they're aiming for September this year. The hospital itself is pretty big, I think 6-7 stories high with 3 basement parkings. If you search the net some sites (and even the news) says it's a 500 bed capacity hospital, which I confirmed with the HR, but she said they won't reach 500 beds. At the moment it's only a 77 bed capacity hospital but they're still expanding.
  7. Go directly at the HR since their HR is already open. Has anyone been interviewed by them? how was it. Google says their hospital is 500 bed capacity, but by the looks of the hospital it doesn't seem like it.
  8. CMCC graduates can apply if 78% above, while other schools must be 80% above. CMC only hires from specific schools (Trinity, UST, CEU, UERM, FEU, PLM). There is no backer system. Pay is pretty good but has gotten smaller, and a minimum 3 months waiting time after the skills training for one month, to be hired as probee, then eventually a staff nurse.
  9. How come some applicants are asked to pass their resumes, TOR and board rating? While most are supposed to write in their logbooks? Most of the people I know who work there, passed their resumes and did not write in the logbook.
  10. They don't seem to care regarding past previous experiences since everyone they hire will undergo their training, equalizing everyone. Not sure about age limit but they're very strict regarding BMI. Anyways, has anyone here been called for PGNT who passed their resumes through email?
  11. The guard will be the one who will forward your resume to the HR. Just make sure to have the usual requirements like the TOR, Board rating, certificates, etc. in a folder/envelope when you hand it to him. The guard and the construction workers I asked said it will open on March - April, which I doubt.
  12. Any have updates? I believe the latest batch of NTAP has just ended.
  13. Really? Hopefully they'll start calling in nurses. But by the looks of the hospital I'm going to assume it will operate mid or late this year.
  14. Any news about SLMC QC's PGNT for 2014? Thanks.
  15. Has anyone been contacted yet? I think ddc will operate early next year.
