O.K. so I have taken 1 test with TCN and I passed it was Life Span and development, I was really stoked about it, I am preparing to take my next exam which is computer info sys. I have co-workers who have enrolled with TCN ISU and none of them have studied, they think we got scammed.I have mixed emotions I feel like I am capable of completing this program, I have only two more classes to take until I can enroll with ISU or what they call Phase II. I am almost there. Please somebody give me some words of wisdom, I have looked into the traditional schools and it is really about the same amount of time, I am in sunny California and the schools here ALL have wait list. Most of the LVN to RN programs are only AA degree programs, I feel like once I complete this program I will a least have a BS. Help! I know this way takes alot of discipline, but I know I can do it . Is any one out there in the second phase plz plz let me know how it's going.

Your co-workers are expressing their negative attitudes as reflected by their actions of not studying and putting forth an honest effort. Do not let what they say deter you. Whether or not any of you got scammed is irrelevant if you reach your goal. They won't reach their goal if they don't put forth some effort. Apparently they thought something was going to be handed to them on a silver platter. Continue to put effort into what you are doing and you will find yourself with what you wanted. Your friends can continue to gripe and that's all the satisfaction they will get.

Keep on truckin'.
I believe that ISU is one of the very few online schools accepted in CA and that TCN is necessary to do that program.
You keep on working and believing in yourself. You'll get there.

What is ISU? Do you have to be an LPN to enroll?

I'm doing phase II and III at the moment. I've done 2 of the modules, I'm just finishing my first semester of ISU classes. They have real professors, real clinicals, etc. It's not a scam.
ISU is Indiana State and yes you have to be an LPN to enroll in the distance education track.
That is Soooooo Great I know I will be there soon. Thank you Soooo much, and good luck to you. Thanks for the encouragement. I have two more pre-reqs and then I will be enrolling with ISU.Thanks again.:bowingpur
