Let me start off by saying if my boss needs any organ of mine, its no problem. Easter is coming up and of course everyone wants off and my babysitter is leaving town for close to a week. We do self scheduling and I'm writing in the hours I can work and I think in my mind shes going to flip out because I was hired to do one shift and here I am changing it. To top it off after I filled it out, my schedule changed again. I'm freaked out and the phone rings, guess who is on caller id? Answer the phone shes in a great mood really friendly and I tell her about whats going on. Its no problem and even with n my new changes was I sure it was going to be okay because she could change them? I was blown away and then Easter comes up, she asks could I work anything and I said yes but just not my usual maybe a shorter shift? God bless her shes only asking for 4 hours that day. Four hours much much later in the day so my kids will still get a great Easter. I'm telling you, I love this ltc. Does the job have downsides, of course its cna work. Will I ever go to work for any other ltc or take another cna job until I get my degree, no way no how no why.
