MUSC DNP Fall 2017

Nursing Students School Programs

Anyone here applied to MUSC Fall DNP program for their FNP track? I'm anxiously awaiting their decision and would help to find somebody going through the same nail biting process.

I wonder if they would be willing to tell us if we were accepted at this point or not...

She said only after the letters are mailed then I can call back to find out.

I didn't see your last post and actually called them myself. I got someone really nice as well. She told me to call back Friday (kinda hinting that it would be the best day)

That's great!! I'm too scared to call to find out my phone but at this point I'm getting impatient and might just call on Friday too. Please let me m ow what you find out.

What did she tell you they were waiting for? Anything new regarding the letters?

Hey guys! I'm new to this board, but I too applied to MUSC's DNP program. I'm currently enrolled in their BSN program and think I found a way to find out if we got in sooner. This would only work for the people already enrolled at MUSC though. If you go to webadvisor and click on your academic profile, click program evaluation. It will list your current program (mine is Nursing BS); however, mine also lists NP FNP PostB. So, I think I got in. I'm not trying to get too excited yet, but I wouldn't imagine them putting that under active programs in my academic profile if I didn't get in. GOOD LUCK!!! I hope this helps for those of you already enrolled at MUSC. Check it out and let me know if yours says the same. :)

I'm currently in the bsn program there too, are you online?

Cool! I'm in the accelerated BSN program on campus, if that's what you mean. Are you doing the RN-BSN they offer online?

I am doing the RN-BSN online. My webadvisor says the same thing as yours

What do you think? Is it a good sign? I also got a financial aid email last week about a form I needed to turn in to make sure there was no delay in my funds for the upcoming semester.

I've been hoping it was a sign. Got an email from Fred Thompson about a possible scholarship

opportunity and it said he was reaching out on behalf of Cathy Durham (she's over the DNP program). I am not sure if any of that means anything because they're saying they just made decisions this week. What about when you click on "my profile" or "approved education plan" in webadvisor. Last time I checked the only place it showed up was under the program evaluation under active programs. I don't know what any of it means. I don't know any previous applicants to ask í ½í¹

Same, I'm only seeing it under program evaluation. "My profile" just lists the program I'm currently taking courses in. That's another reason why I didn't want to get too excited, but I just can't imagine why they would put NP FNP PostB anywhere in my profile if I wasn't accepted since you go somewhere completely different to check the status of your application. Keeping my fingers crossed! Hopefully we don't have much more waiting to do anyway. I'll try to ask around and see who else in my class applied.
