Just wanted to start a thread for those who are applying to the cohort starting in 2020 for the Medical University of South Carolina CRNA program...reaching out to anyone who plans to apply.

Yea I like it! It's not without its issues, but every program is like that. And I am not from Charleston originally, but the first semester is entirely online (with the exception of the first week of on-campus orientation), so you have time to move and everything.

Oh I didn't realize that! Very cool. Thank you for your insight ? I'm so excited about the program and really hoping I get the chance to interview.

My advisor is the person who is doing the initial screening of all applications and chooses which ones to send an interview invitation to. When I met with her last Thursday, she said she was a little over halfway through ~150 applications.

Wow! I can't imagine reading that many essays/applications. It must be hard to choose, as I'm sure they get lots of qualified applicants!
