MURRAY STATE CRNA INFO

Hi everyone! I am considering applying to Murray State's CRNA program next year. I understand that the program is online for the first year and then clinicals/on-campus visits begin the second year. Someone told me that campus visits are few and far between. Can anyone clarify this? I only ask because I am unable to move my family from our current location in Louisville, so if I have to go to campus 3 times a week or more then its not even worth applying for. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Two questions

1. what date are y'all interviewing? 

2. Have y'all gotten information about the interview or is that going to be sent closer to the day/date of the interview?

I picked January 23rd. And Michelle which is the admin. assistant said they will be sending out the information after Dec 11th because that's the last day to either accept or decline.

I picked the 23rd as well! Has anyone heard/researched if it will be clinical or a personal interview?

I'm interviewing the 22nd. From what I hear it is heavily personal with only a few clinical questions.

What kinds of questions do you feel you've been asked?

 

I also heard they did a short ICU level test, however with interviews being virtual this year they would include some clinical questions to make up for the lack of testing available.

What are your strongest/weakest personality traits. How do you resolve conflicts with co workers. Why would you be a good fit for the program. Why should we pick you. Your biggest accomplishment. Those kind of questions. I did have a test my last interview they set us up with a test link on canvas that was proctored so I wouldn’t be surprised if they still did.

Congratulations to each and everyone one of you who made it to the interview. And sorry to the ones who did not make it to the interview this time.. Some of us are still waiting to receive either invitation or denial letter  of  interview!!  Is there anyone else who hasn’t hear anything yet?
