MURRAY STATE CRNA INFO

Hi everyone! I am considering applying to Murray State's CRNA program next year. I understand that the program is online for the first year and then clinicals/on-campus visits begin the second year. Someone told me that campus visits are few and far between. Can anyone clarify this? I only ask because I am unable to move my family from our current location in Louisville, so if I have to go to campus 3 times a week or more then its not even worth applying for. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Yes I applied to MSU. Any word about interviews yet?

I also applied, and no word yet. I was reading from the last cohort, and it seems they got their interview notices around 11/16-11/18. Looking forward to next week. Good luck!

I received an email yesterday saying I wasn’t selected for an interview, but friends of mine have not yet received any emails.

I am sorry to hear that you were not selected for the interview. Were you given the reason as to why you were not selected or what you could work on to strengthen your application against next year if you decide to reapply?

I am also yet to receive an email from MSU. I am honestly crossing my fingers, and good luck moving forward.

The letter just said that my “application was not competitive based on the pool of applicants.” I plan to follow up with the program director to see how I can strengthen my application, but I figured I’d wait a few months when they’re not as busy so I can get some good feedback.

This was my first year applying so I’m hoping to hear from them and other schools I applied for on what I can do to improve and if I need to repeat any courses. I’ll give it another try next year!

Best of luck to you! I’d love to get your feedback once you hear from them. Keep us posted!
