I'm reading the saunders book and have gone thru maternity and pediatrics which i have enjoyed reading so far. and with the tests the most mistakes i have gotten in those chapters is 8 out of 20 and for reasons like changing my answer grrr. anyway, im reading a new chapter and i feel like everything that i have read from maternity and pediatrics have completely left my brain! i don't know and that scares me cuz that would mean that i have to reread it again. cuz there are times inthe day when a word pops up in my head and im trying so hard to recall where i had actually read it from..im scared about this. and theres like so many more chapters to read and i am so afraid that i would be forgetting everything i read as more chapters i will go through..does anyone feel the same way or what ... my dad sometimes tell me when you answer the question the info will just go backto you... im really scared..

YEAP. The 1st chapters I read was Maternity and Pediatrics (AND THERE WAS SO MANY OF THEM) it took me two weeks to read them all. I later felt like I spent too much time on those chapters because I know I retained something, but was enough. When you begin to do practice questions, read the rationale. Eventually it would stick. Depending on how much time you have, I dont know about the re-reading because you may feel like that with every chapter. GOOD LUCK!

MekBlizz is right, eventually it will stick to you. I know how you feel, months ago I fear the same thing but I could tell you now eventually you'll remember it as long as you keep reading. :)

Don't overanalyze. You will be able to deal with these questions a lot better than you think. A day or two off from your study routine might be in order. Give your poor brain a rest.
