Mt. San Antonio (Mt. SAC) Fall 2023

Published

I wanted to start this because I didn't see one yet! This is for Mt. SAC in Walnut, CA!

how are we doing points wise?

I just spoke with a rep and they said candidates are selected based on points. The lottery was done for the TEAS invitation while the actual selection is based off highest points.

That's what I thought. Thanks

It appears there is a ton of misinformation being spread to us students. That's unfortunate.

Hey guys. I decided to come out of the shadows to clear up some misinformation. The lottery was just to get to TEAS invite. Going forward, it will be based on points.

As far as I know only 105 people took the TEAS exam out of the 150 invites that were sent out. So, I am assuming anyone with a score greater than 76 should have a seat. Anyone here less than that? I'm in the low 70's so it would be nice to know how many ppl are on the low end.

Also, the counselors don't have good information. They are only verifying our points. The nursing department has better information.

Hi Bre. I really hope this information is correct! So out of the 105 I wonder how many didn't pass the TEAS.

Do we know when decisions go out?

I believe they are doing counseling appts until the 25th. So end of April or in May. Hopefully sooner than later.

My counselor said decisions go out starting May 1st. However, I'll be giving up my spot since I did get in elsewhere.
