I wanted to start this because I didn't see one yet! This is for Mt. SAC in Walnut, CA! 

how are we doing points wise?

I received the email and packet? I was curious if any alternates have been moved into the program yet. Maybe they aren't letting anyone know until orientation.

I have a feeling they might not let us know until like the last day of orientation. Just to see if people won't show up so that maybe we'll have a better chance of getting in! I hope they let us know how high we are on the list though.

Mm honestly I'm not sure, I'm also unsure if I should wear scrubs since we'll be there for so long.

Does anyone know if we should pack lunch, or if they provide it or give us a break to leave?

I had a friend who was in the program there a couple years ago. She doesn't know if it's the same, but she said they go over rules and some paper work. They also may do a tour of the places we'll do our labs in on campus. She just said to make sure to show up on time each day or our name will be removed! I'm not sure if we should bring like a backpack or something but I think I will just in case

It's a long orientation so I'm sure they'll give us a lunch break, not sure if they'll provide us lunch though. It says on the email that snacks will be available for purchase so maybe bring something just in case!

I called and they said they do not provide lunch. They only sell snacks, chips and stuff. They recommend bringing a lunch. I'm just wearing regular clothes since I don't have scrubs and I'm assuming they're not going to require us to wear scrubs. Also, that big math packet is due tomorrow.

Hey guys! So I just want to tell you that I think we should bring extra paper or a notebook to take notes. I am also bringing some highlighters, pens, pencils etc. I am sure they will have a lot to say! Better to be over prepared I guess. IDK if we can bring a laptop and mine is super heavy so I am not bringing it. Hope everyone gets there okay tomorrow. Good luck and see you all soon.
