Mt. Sac nursing program spring 2018

Good evening everyone.

My name is Nicole. I made this forum to connect with potential Mt Sac nursing students who may be applying for Spring 2018 admission. I'm am applying and wanted to see everyone's status, and maybe gain some insight on what is to come. I have not taken my HESI yet; I am taking it August 17th. I am also working on finishing up a summer class to know where my gpa stands for points on the multi criteria. I am between 76 and 83 points depending on my HESI score, gpa, and work experience. Not sure what the cutt off will be for the Spring 2018 semester, but I'm hoping I will have enough points. Hope everyone is having an awesome night. Hope to hear from future students.

Yeah, I thought I went in with higher points but when I called to confirm-I was 3 pts lower.

If anyone does found out about how many people applied, can you please let us know :) I wish I can call right now, but I'm at work and can only text lol

wait what do you mean you were 3 pts lower? so you got 69 points? or 3 points lower than what you expected?

who did you talk to? i called again to ask how many points i got and the person on the phone said they're not allowed to give that information out, not even concerning my own points. im so confused. :( anyone have different luck?

I do have my appointment the 9th of October at 1:45. I am going to ask what the cut off is (and if that includes the alternates) and how many people applied.

Ok, that makes sense...

My friend called and was told she didnt make it because her pts calculated at only at 65 and was told the cut-off was 72. I'm sure that includes alternates as well.

I feel terrible now. Never expected this to happen. Tomorrow my friend and I will go and check with nursing department. I hope there is some mistake and we can get in finally. We tried so hard for this.This is really not what we planned. Hope anyone with latest information can come and share.
