Wow 85 points is like guaranteed admission. What makes fall more competitive? Don't all your science pre-reqs have to be completed before application?
I have 76.5, hope that's atleast alternate. Since almost all alternates she said get in.
Cautiously optimistic. I've been told by several nursing counselors at different schools (application workshops) that Fall tends to be more competitive because they see a larger applicant pool than they do in Spring. That's all.
I submitted my application too. I have 83 points so I'm hoping that I'm in. Mt sac is my only choice! I wasn't able to attend an information session so can anyone tell me what the school schedule is like? I saw that classes start at 7am on Mondays each semester but not sure about the rest of the week. Also has anyone used childcare at school before? Thanks!

I asked about the schedule at a counselors app before I applied. She said they can change every semester but it seems to be pretty consistent over the last few semesters Monday and Thur classes and arranged clinical hours I am curious as to how clinical hours are arranged, if they are also only in the morning or if we can arrange evening hours.
If we get in top 60 or wait listed we will have to attend a 3 day mandatory orientation in June. I assume that's where they will explain the fall class schedule and such.
I was like #23 at the counseling appointment, but I made my appointment the first week they started them. It changes based on if people don't make an appointment or documentation wasn't correct. At orientation they had our admission packets and then waitlist, they pulled like 3 people from waitlist & the rest that were there were waitlisted based on where they stood point wise and the time they submitted their app.

Hi guys,
I submitted my application to Mt. Sac nursing program for the fall 2017 application period.
I have yet to see a thread on this particular application period for Mt. SAC so I hope many more join this thread. I'll be posting any updates on here, hopefully others will also contribute to their experience or updates on their process.
Good luck to all
