Hello! I am creating this thread as a way to connect with my fellow pre nursing students who are applying for Mt Sac‘s ADN program this coming application date, Jan 1-March 1, for the fall 2022. If you guys have any questions or any tips regarding the nursing application that you would like to share, please feel free to comment them down below. Thank you and I wish you all good luck!

I submitted mine for fall 2022, too! ?
@NurseDeh How many points would you be applying with if you don’t mind me asking?

I'm applying for the second time with 80 points; I had 72 pts last application cycle I think. From what I know of, the cut off last cycle was around 73-74 and the previous semester was about 76. (Cut-offs for HESI invitations -- I think they are using TEAS instead now)
@NurseDeh That’s really good! For sure you’ll be invited! I’m currently at 76 points right now, hopefully that’s enough to get me invited.
I hate that they changed it to the TEAS though, I’d rather take the HESI LOL ?

76 points definitely should be enough to get an invite! Plus, mt sac has around 50-60 spots which is a lot more than most other ADN programs.
Is the HESI easier?? I'm a little nervous about having to take the TEAS again, too. loll
@NurseDeh yea crossing my fingers ?? Ima try to go to the informational meeting on Feb 7! And for the HESI I heard it was easier than the TEAS. Personally I took the TEAS once already like last year. I didn’t do so good on it, so I’ma try to start studying now for it!
Some of my friends who took both TEAS and HESI said that HESI is easier.
I believe, the TEAS’ science portion covers more subjects like Chemistry and biology.
Before Mt sac was only testing students on A&P for the HESI science portion.

Hello Everyone!
I'm currently doing the application, and I encountered a problem. The application portal all of a sudden shut down, as in it couldn't load the page. My internet is working fine, but everytime I try to access the site it can't load.
Is this a recurring problem? Or was I just lucky ?
@Chuparosa22 Heyy that’s super wierd! I just checked mine and it’s working fine.
