Hello! I am creating this thread as a way to connect with my fellow pre nursing students who are applying for Mt Sac‘s ADN program this coming application date, Jan 1-March 1, for the fall 2022. If you guys have any questions or any tips regarding the nursing application that you would like to share, please feel free to comment them down below. Thank you and I wish you all good luck!

It's a great idea! We don't know how competitive the pool is and every point counts. I first choiced the earliest day only because I took it before and it felt very fair of a test.
By the way, does that mean PCC is still doing applications??? I applied to Los Angeles County College of Allied Health and Nursing + Rio Hondo here (if anyone else happens to be applying there, too!! Say hiii.)

@Dehvin I go to PCC, but IDK why their app period is so late too. I know that their program had about 850 applicants last semester and about 3/4 of the accepted students already have their BAs.
Has anyone gotten a confirmation from Mt SAC about their TEAS testing appointment?
Hi, thanks for your sharing. I'm currently in the dosage calculation course, hope it help. I have just got accepted in the program of this school, I am so nervous. Can you share more information about the program? is the course difficult? how are the Professors? what is the clinical agencies of school?
Thanks
Hi, @Iloverose!
Congratulations on your acceptance into the program! I was just accepted into the ADN program for Fall 2022 as well! I've been hearing a lot about this dosage calculation course, but cannot seem to find any information about it. By any chance, would you be able to send me information on where to enroll in this course?

From what I understand I think Mt. SAC will offer a dosage calculation course before we start in august. I’m guessing they will give us the information during orientation.
Hi everyone! I remember 3 semester ago I used this forum to connect with my potential classmates. Going into my 4th semester/ Wow! Time flies. It was very helpful. Congratulations everyone on deciding to pursue such a selfless and rewarding career. We are here to support you in this journey the best we can. Let me know if you have questions or anything you think you would want to know before starting Fall semester. Good luck to all of you! You got this.

Hi Rita, can you share with us how the program is? do we need to prepare anything? Do the Professors of our school support us? Do the clinical OK? I am so nervous.
Hi Michelle, congratulations. I'm so excited to see you guys in the program. I am currently studying at East LA College; they have a dosage calculation course. On the other hand, I know the LACCD system, Chaffey College, Compton, and El Camino College... also have this course. You can search in our Mt. Sac, I think they have this class also. Hope this help you.
