Members are discussing their experiences with being on the alternate list for nursing programs, sharing advice on whether to pursue LPN or CNA certifications for more experience, and comparing different program options and acceptance rates. Some members are also sharing their confusion and concerns about the number of students on the alternate list compared to the number of spots available in the program.
Hi all, just curious if anyone has received an email for an invite phase 2 yet? Looking at previous years, this is about time time they were sent out.
Best of luck!

Nope! I was hoping this week. Contradicting info. Admissions guide says Mid May. Second phase email said June. So a lot of hurry up and wait for the next few weeks. Would be good to know so we could decline any offers we already have an open those seats up to alternates.

I did today! Got my acceptance email!
For those on CCC or MHCC waitlist, I got my acceptance for PCC and will be declining my spot, I know of two others doing the same and an alternate for both that's removing themselves So have hope! Best of luck!

As people decline their spots, those on the alternate list move up. I think it just depends on where you're at on alternate list whether you have a shot of getting an offer. Based off previous years, I would say anything over 50 is probably going to be hard for MHCC and anything over 15 would be hard for CCC.

Did anyone else get accepted to the Fall cohort this year? If so, do we know if anyone has made a facebook group for our cohort?
