MSU accelerated program May 2015 start

Published

I was just wondering if anyone else has applied and heard back from the accelerated program. Feeling really nervous to hear back!

Maybe they ship standard which can take up to 8 days

How far is everyone from EL? I wonder if that impacts how soon the letters will arrive

I currently live in Indiana. The suspense is killing me!

I'm about an hour and a half away! Hopefully it comes this week

I am about 40 minutes away

I'm 15 min away!

No letter. I honestly do not think it will arrive until the end of the week based on USPS shipping times

I only live 20 minutes away!

Thank you! I was going to apply to LCC but I don't have any work experience and only 200 volunteer hours. I'm like 10 points from last years cut off so I figured it wasn't worth applying for. Hopefully we hear this week!

Don't go by last year's cut-off numbers for LCC. The cut-off changes drastically each year. The year I applied, the previous year's cut-off was 141. I applied with 140 and thought there was no way I was getting in (no work experience or volunteer points). The cut-off ended up being 126 that year. It all depends on the background of that year's applicants. Don't let it hold you back from trying. You never know!

Good luck :) I'll be graduating from LCC in May and finishing my BSN at MSU starting Fall 2015

Thats true! Another factor was the other ABSN program I'm applying to, Oakland, requires you to take patho, pharm, and informatics at their school. I didnt' want to take pharm at lcc, and have to retake it at oakland. I already have taken patho at MSU so i'm out money there....I wish schools weren't so difficult!

I got my letter today and I'm on the waiting list! the only downfall is I thought forsure I wasn't going to get in and my friends have a vacation planned to vegas the weekend before classes start...I'm skeptical of buying airfare in case I get off the list. AHHHH!

My mail came and no letter!
