MSU accelerated program May 2015 start

Published

I was just wondering if anyone else has applied and heard back from the accelerated program. Feeling really nervous to hear back!

I also applied to the accelerated program. I was looking at the threads from last year and letters were sent out the 17th. So hopefully we hear something soon!

Can I asked what your GPA and your pre req GPA was? I have a 3.35 overall and a 3.75 prereq. I worried about my overall GPA not being that high

I had a 3.275 overall and a 3.6 prereq...I'm in kinda the same boat as you..but worse lol! i'm worried too. I applied for Oakland's accelerated program and should get in. That's the only one I had planned on applying to but had all the prereqs for MSU so I figured I'd apply and see. I just wish they would send out the letters so I can quit worrying/wondering!

I didnt apply anywhere else! I am going to apply to LCC if I don't get in. GOOD LUCK! I will post it when I get my letter I live about 20 minutes from campus.

I applied too and still waiting to hear! Hoping this week?! I applied with a 3.49 GPA

Thank you! I was going to apply to LCC but I don't have any work experience and only 200 volunteer hours. I'm like 10 points from last years cut off so I figured it wasn't worth applying for. Hopefully we hear this week!

Yes I hope so! I have been nonstop checking mail/emails. I will let you guys know when I hear anything!

Do you know what the point cut off points for LCC where last yr? I have no clue because the points system changes every year and I don't know anyone who has been in the accelerated program to ask. I also still havent got the letter and I just got my mail. What are these ppl doing to us?!? lol

Idk anything about LCC because it's not a BSN program and that's what I want so I haven't applied to it!

I went to an advisor a couple weeks ago at LCC. The point cut off last year was 111...i'm not sure what the situation was with the alternates. In both 2012 and 2013 the point cutoff was 107 so it raised last year by 4. Again, not sure about the alternate list for those 2 years either. This was for the accelerated program at LCC..i'm not sure about the traditional.

Has anyone heard back from MSU's admissions office but not the nursing school?
