Msn

Hey folks from the East: Are any of you familiar with the MSN programs at either Drexel or Widener? Or both? I am looking at the RN to MSN bridge programs; my bachelor's is not in nursing.

I looked intop the program at Drexal. I never heard of widener, though. They have a bridge program at drexal for those who do not have a BSN in nursing. The problem I find is that the BSN school I attended is not NLN accredited, and alot of places will not accept it. The school its self is however, accredited but not with NLN. Not many schools now days are NLN accredited, which makes it very tough to transfer.

Started attending Widener MSN FNP program, took 3 courses all excellent instructors who know their stuff and very involved in professional organizations.

Personally know undergrad dean and you won't go wrong with their program--it's been around longer than Drexel's bridge program. Both are good schools. Drexel's clinicals all over Philly. Widener has hospital 2 blocks from school but BSN also uses wide variety hospitals/facilities. Look at commute, credit hour cost. Factor in parking for Philly too. Take a tour.
