Hi i'm a 2yr nurse and 2nd career nurse ! ! !
I am ready to start my Master's Level Training and don't want to go back to my Bachelor's School since I already have 2 Bachelor's from that School.
I am soliciting feedback on ONLINE Master's Programs.... What's best about the programs any of you have taken......
1. Most economical?
2. Most user Friendly ???
3. Best interactions????????????
Thanks for any information you are willing to share.
Thanks for the info! So, @ So Alabama, what are the requirements for your preceptors? I'm in an area where I have many MD's who would precept me, but like you, not so many NP's as most are already contracted with many of the local nursing programs.
If I understand it correctly...
They have a list of clinical affiliation sites on their web site. You are welcome to find your own. But they have to submit forms (also on their web site) and be accepted by the particular instructor for the specialty you would be in.
I am sure you could write them and ask. They were very good about getting back to me in a day or two.

Again, it is a good program, but I am sure there are just as good or better out there. I do not think they have a requirement either way from what I was told. Some schools do... Frontier does according to what they emailed me. I would of went there, if it hadn't of been for that, I really liked the idea of the homey feel. Just good to figure it out in advance. I didn't want to get smack in a middle of a program and then stall due to no preceptor available.
Don't forget, you have to take into account not just the dollars per credit, but the total number of credits required. UoP required 14 fewer credits than Walden for the MSN/Ed, so it came out to less money for me.
Apply for student loans, too. Even if you don't think you qualify, get the application in (FAFSA), because you can still apply for scholarships.
