Hi all! I cannot seem to find a thread for the upcoming Mount Saint Mary's ABSN Summer 2023 program (with 11/1/22 deadline). So, I figured I'd make one myself. Let this be an interactive space for all Summer '23 applicants. Good luck to us all!

That could have very well been a specific case tailored to her, for whatever reason. There is def no math, or TEAS, or any other sort of test for the 2023 ABSN Program. Had my interview today, and there was zero talk about any test-- math or otherwise.

My advice is to not be discouraged by your stats or compare to anyone else's. Apply to where you meet requirements and go from there. It may sound easier said than done but at the end of the day, when you get in somewhere, no one cares what your stats were and no one knows unless you tell them. I have seen many people with outstanding stats say they couldn't make it through and others with lower stats say they did just fine. If you made it into a program then it was for a reason! Worst that can happen is they say no, which may sound awful and I don't mean it to sound insensitive all. I have applied to a few schools, some of which I was sure I'd get in to and didn't and others that I was surprised to make it into. As long as your stats meet the minimum requirements then go for it ?
This question is for someone who might have already interviewed. Do you mind sharing your experience with the interview process? Any specific questions? How long was the interview? Was it a group interview with other students? What did they ask you? Did they talk more about the program? What do you wish you knew before the interview appointment?

That is great advice Amarie21 ?
yes don't be discouraged by stats; it's better to apply and know you did everything you could to pursue your career goals than to let fear hold you back! Besides programs also look at your prior experience (most work experience can also be tailored to nursing too)
