MSMU ABSN Program Summer 2023

Hi all! I cannot seem to find a thread for the upcoming Mount Saint Mary's ABSN Summer 2023 program (with 11/1/22 deadline). So, I figured I'd make one myself. Let this be an interactive space for all Summer '23 applicants. Good luck to us all!

Hi! I would just advise to be ontop of deadlines. IDK if they told you about a website called complio, I think they talk about that during the orientation, but it's a site that you upload documents of immunizations and insurance, etc. They are really ontop of that before going to clinicals. If they haven't told you guys about that yet, I think you guys are fine I'm just letting you know beforehand ?

Oh yes I saw so many deadlines for that. They have sent that out so Ill be sure to look more into it. Thank you!

Hi everyone! I'm not sure if anyone will see this LOL, but congrats on everyone who was accepted! I am EXTREMELY nervous about applying because I barely meet the minimum GPA requirement to apply. My science pre reqs are pretty average too. I do however have a 1 year of hospital experience as a phlebotomist/ lab technician and 2 solid credible letters of recs. I also believe my personal statement will show how badly I want this. I am graduating from my university next mont and will be applying in August for the Summer 2024 cohort. My question is for those of you who got accepted, would you be willing to share what your stats were if you weren't the STRONGEST applicant and why you think you got accepted despite not having the best grades? Whether that be your experience, letter of rec, or personal statement ? thank you! ❤️
