MSMU ABSN Fall 2016

Haven't found a thread for fall 2016. I applied to MSMU ABSN, and took the basic math exam today! Unfortunately, I did not receive 100% on the exam. The proctor mentioned that only about 10% of the admitted cohort gets a perfect score, and the other 90% has to take the test again. Hoping this will not affect my chances for admittance too much. Was wondering how everyone else did.

I got an email about an interview yesterday. My name is towards the end of the alphabet but since this seems like only the second round I would guess they may be going in reverse alphabetical order. Either way, no stress ladies. I feel like the impression I got from previous years and Agasia in admissions was that they often do multiple rounds of interviews.

I know another batch went out today for interviews on Thursday. 6 slots. Maybe they are sending out batches 6 at a time? Not really sure how many interviews there have been or how many left to go.

Hi All,

I am interested in applying for the next cohort. I was wondering what your GPA's were like. I have an accumalative GPA of 3.06 and a Science GPA of 3.75. I am right on the cusp. I was wondering what other accepted students GPA's were like. Thanks a ton!

Hi all! I've been lurking on here for a couple weeks and figured I should probably contribute. I interviewed today, and when I received my invitation last week, there were 17 spots/options for interviews throughout the day today. The faculty member was really nice and easy to talk to, and she let me know that they'll be sending out official offer letters in a couple weeks (which is the end of the month - this is right on track with what Ms. Lanier told me at the math exam, interviews throughout May, then decisions mailed out early June). Just wanted to let everyone know that you can continue to check your application status on the Mount's Portal system. Agasia Lanier (the admissions person) indicated that this will update up to a week before you receive a letter in the mail. If you have any trouble MSMU has a great tech support department who's willing to help you out. I hope that's helpful. Good luck everyone!

I have been following this thread for a few days and figured it was about time to join in on the conversation. I have been so busy with finals... I really hope to hear back about interview decisions soon! @Syns: I will definitely post something if I see a change on the MSMU portal.
