MSMC ABSN Summer 2012

Published

Hey everyone,

Is anyone applying to Mount St. Mary's ABSN program for Spring 2012? I was thinking about applying to the ADN program, but I talked with one of the advisors on the Doheny campus and she told me to look into the ABSN program since I already have a bachelor's degree. However, I'm a little concerned with my low GPA that I've received from my undergraduate bachelor's degree. She told me to keep taking classes to raise my GPA, but I have way too many credits from my last degree and I don't think it'll go up any higher no matter how many classes I take. I currently have A's & B's in my prereq's...

Is anyone in the same situation as I am??? Or for any of those that got into the ABSN program have a low cumulative GPA?

I think it's pretty late but I guess we will see. I was hoping to hear sooner. Have you called them an asked HdKim?

Hi Star28,

I'm in another thread (MSMC ABSN Fall 2012 cohort) and one person called Admissions to see where they were in the process. They actually haven't even looked at the applications yet. They'll be sending out emails for interviews in mid to late May. I guess I won't be checking my WebAdvisor for a while, haha.

Well we are now at the being of May :yeah: I'm hoping these weeks fly by! I have yet to be able to log on to webAdvisor. I'm hoping we both get it!!! YAY! I will check out the other thread.

How important is the personal statement and the letters or recommendations?

Hi All of Summer 2012!!

I am taking off the program, and join you guys from the second semester in August.

Anybody, could you tell me your program's facebook title?

You guys must have some kind of community webs.

Please let me know.

Welcome to MSMC NUR ABSN program!!

I would say pretty important!

@hdkim--

I have a few questions about the ABSN program. Would you mind emailing me at [email protected] as I would love to hear from previous students.

I would appreciate any help,

Berry
