First I want to say congratulations on your acceptance heavenleegh! That is great news. However, I'm gonna play devil's advocate here. In your previous post you said they were going by alphabetical order and that your last name started with a W. Many of us got scared with that statement because W is pretty much the end of the alphabet which only meant that people with last names before W who haven't received an invite were likely not to get one. With that said, I cant speak for everyone else but my last name is before W and I received an invite days after your post. So in actuality, you were told the wrong information. But hey, we are here now and it doesn't matter what you or I were told because at this point I'm just happy to have interviewed and left the interview feeling good about it. Best of luck to you.

I thought I was giving correct info. I assume the school tells the truth when they tell me something. I could have been given the wrong info I do not know. This forum is used as discussion board. Sorry it was the wring info or perhaps you got an invite because others dropped out or did not qualify. I don't know!!!! I am just hoping and praying as all of you are.

To answer the other question, I got accepted, but there is still one more level and that is admitted. But again, I am only going by what I was told. This will be my last post as I do not want to tell you something that later turns out different.

Accepted means admitted. Your posts are confusing and everyone is under a lot of stress waiting to hear back about their admission statuses. The invites were never in alphabetical order, you were either told the wrong info or you're confused. Our posts on this discussion should aim to support each other. With that being said, it has been confirmed that more candidates will be accepted so please keep us informed with your acceptances and good luck.

Thank you Combi. There is no way they would admit the entire fall cohort before Thursday. I know for a fact they were interviewing at least all day Thursday and Friday.

I think heavenleegh's last post is a clear validation for me that she is indeed confused. One of her posts asks if the Math Exam was called ALEKS. To answer that question, ALEKS is taken by Mount Saint Mary College out of New York. We are Mount St. Mary's with an apostrophe S. Admitted- Accepted. Please read carefully. I should have known then.

On a positive note... hopefully we hear by Monday or Tuesday! Almost there!!!!!

I was accepted on 06/19 the day of my interview. My friend was also admitted on 06/19 when her interview was on 06/17. From my understanding, those were the early decision acceptances. So I think it's safe to assume that they are going to keep reviewing files and interviews to determine who will join the rest of the cohort. And I'm thinking that another x amount will get notification of acceptance on a specific day and then probably the last round of acceptances. I thought I would share what I know so that I may alleviate some of your concerns. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Congrats on your acceptance abbyquinn! That must be so great you heard the same day. When did you receive your invite to interview? I'm only asking because it seems (and this is just an assumption) like they accepted those who got the first batch of interview invites. Those who got the second batch of interview invites, I feel are/could still be waiting. I could be totally wrong, but please clarify, if you don't mind. Thanks!!!

Thank you! I received my invite to interview on June 10 at 7:06pm. I think you are correct to assume that. From everyone I've spoken to it seems that they put people into groups. For ex. group A are the people who based on the criteria of grades (ex. 3.8 and above), experience, etc are the early decision, basically immediate admits unless you really bomb your interview or do something really awful. Group B and who knows if there is another group are people who I'm guessing need more reviewing to see who to admit based on more data points, maybe lower GPA and too many prerequisites in progress or something to that effect. I also wouldn't worry too much about the math test score either because I had a 4.0 GPA in my prerequisites but scored in the 70's for math test. My friend who was also admitted had a 3.8 and scored in the 80's for her math test. Hope that helps!
