MSC start date May 8, 2008

Has anyone applied to Maricopa Skill Center for the May 8, 2008 start date? What kind of NET scores did you get? Or did anyone else you know get? Or what is the average score necessary to be in the Top 40 scores?

I just read on another post that someone got in to MSC wth an 82 in math and a 64 in reading I think they said. They also said it took about a month longer to let them know who got in. I really hope that doesn't happen here. I need to know ASAP.

I know. I feel like I'm sitting on eggshells. They can't wait another month because we would already be in school in a month, right!!

Yeah, that's true. One of my friends talked to them tis morning and they said they were sending out letters and making call by the end of the week.

I can't believe that they just told me that I have to come up with over $1700 in 2 weeks in order to start the program. Like I just have that kind of money laying around?

I told them that I have fin aid, but they aren't going to award until 1-2 weeks before. So, I am supposed to put up the money, and then they will see if I get it back or not. Can you believe that?

When did you start turning in your FA 6+3.4n after we found out?

Sorry, I'm not sure what exactly that all means. But, I filled out my FA for 08-09 and 09-10 back in January. From what they told me they just aren't awarding anyone's until after the deadline for the $1700+.

I turned in my W2 and 1040 federal tax doc back in january, so they told me my funding was appeared. I wonder why it would make a difference?

You cannot even get a student loan to cover it? I think that's what everyone is talking about with FA.

That worried me! I should probably go back and double check. What I meant was even though you applied online, who have to deliver your w2 and 1040 form to msc, sometimes marriage license, spouse tax docs, or parents.

I thought that all I had to do was apply online, I learned the hard way my first year of college.
