Hi all,
I have an interview next week for a position as a Radiology RN. I do not know if this involves MRI, but I will ask when I have the interview.
I have a dental implant, does anyone know if I can still do MRI cases with that?
Thanks
HPRN

Can you clarify what you mean by "do MRI cases"?
Well I guess it would include doing conscious sedation for MRI patients, just in general can I be in the room when the magnet is on?
I can't answer your question because i don't know what kind of implants you have. If they are MR safe, then yes. If they aren't, then you can't go beyond Zone 2. At my facility, most of the conscious sedation is done in Zone 2 or on the floor.
