I'd like to hear from those who are moving on to this new experience. I'm moving away from family and all that's familiar to get my RN. Anyone else?
I moved b/c my husband is military, not b/c of school. I started classes immediately, like within 2 weeks of arriving. It worked out great. It allowed me to be around other people and not dwell so much on being by myself. I just finished Micro and some of the people in my class are also moving on to the RN program too. I think it'll help to have a few familiar faces even if we aren't exactly "friends". The only support I have is my husband. We are no where near family. And even though I have him, I also have 3 little kids. I want this so bad I don't think anything can stop me at this point! Good luck in your new location!
