I am thinking about starting travel nursing in San Diego. I want to move this coming Spring. Please HELP!!!

Specializes in Postpartum / Mother-Baby.

I lived in SD a few years ago and absolutely loved the Sharp hospitals.

Specializes in med/surg/tele/neuro/rehab/corrections.

There are many hospitals here in San Diego. Kaiser, Sharp as mentioned above, Scripps is another. Under Sharp and Scripps there are many many hospitals. UCSD medical center and Balboa Naval Medical Center, The VA in La Jolla, Paradise Valley Hospital in National City just south of San Diego but in the county and very drivable. :)

You can find that each one is on the web and you can download a resume or just start browsing for jobs. I've heard it can take a long time for the department to get your resume after you have submitted it to HR. Someone told me it took about one month for them to receive one from HR and he didn't know why the process took so long.

I"m doing a clinical rotation right now at Scripps Mercy Hospital in downtown San Diego. The main building is 12 stories tall. I am just blown away going up there and looking down on the Heliport and the rest of the city.

Good luck :)
