Hello Sara1: HUP (University of PENN) system requires a BSN to work for them. I don't beleive any of the other hospitals require this.

How much can new grads expect o get???
Hey Sara,
I replied to your other ? also. I jsut graduated school Aug 07 and work at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA in the ED!!! Whoo Hooo. It is a level 1 trauma center, one of 4 Burn Centers in the state, plus they have a peds specialty. The ED is very busy with the helicopter service getting flights in from about 8-10 different counties. There are some people from the philly area who work there as well (probably a 50 minute drive). As a new grad, you will proabably start out in low to mid 20's. LVH also has an awesome critical care internship that I just completed. They also offer free benefits for you and your family (if applicable). They have a lot of perks. you can apply online. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Send me a message!
good luck!
