moving to Orlando ORMC vs Florida hospital

Published

I am moving to FL in August and have already interviewed at both hospitals. I have been offered a variety of positions. I am a new grad and am having trouble choosing. does anyone have experiance with either facility?

Any advise on choosing a unit??

Thanks,

linzo

Hi, I have a job offer at Florida Hospital, but it will be a few months until I start work as I'm still in the UK waiting for my green card :o

I don't know much about ORMC but I can say that I'm impressed by what I've seen at Florida Hospital, especially the continuing education. They have facilities throughout Central Florida, and I believe that once you are an employee of Florida Hospital, you can transfer to work at any of their sites. I'll be working at Celebration Health, where will you be if you decide to accept a job with them?

I live in the Orlando area and I too have a choice between Fl Hosp & ORMC- they are boh excellent hospitals...either one you choose u will be happy..ofcourse u have people at both places that are not happy...then again u have people like that everywhere...i went w/ FL hosp. (i'm a PCT) ...because they have a great college and there continuing program is excellent...i don't know u so i have no idea on ur likes and dislikes but i would suggest that you go w/ a unit that interests you...

good luck
