I'm a soon to be LPN who is going to be moving to North Carolina (around the Fayetteville area) in August. I am wondering if anyone can share any information on where I should look for a job (good hospitals vs. bad, good NH vs. bad) and what I should expect for pay down there. I know what I would be looking at up here in OH, but its hard to find that kind of information when your from out of state. Thanks to anyone who can help!!!

Cape Fear hospital is pretty good. Since fayetteville is not really one of the major big cities. The pay may be around 15.00hr.A good friend of mine works at the hospital. I know alot of hospitals are phasing out LPN positions. You might want to call and find out if they are hiring new LPNS. LTC is mostly where they still LPNS.

Are there a good amount of LTC facilities available to choose from or are the options limited?
