Moving to Georgia from California when I finish Nursing school

Published

Hello,

I don't know if any lives near Warner Robins or Macon. But I have questions about nursing in that area. I will be searching for a job out there in September of 09 as a new grad is there any info anyone can give me?

Thanks

GaMommy81, not at all! The HR department at Doctors actively recruited our class months before we graduated! They had what they call "meet and greet" when we did our clinicals at their facility. They were very nice and took an active interest in our future as nurses. I was hired so fast it was kind of freaky! I had never been treated so nice! I got the position I wanted and a starting salary that was as competitive as those in larger cities like Atlanta.

Wow! That's amazing. Did you go through an internship there? Did you have a nice preceptor? Do you spend a lot of time in a classroom setting as well as on the floor? Doctors sounds very appealing. Do they have nice shift differentials? Also, will they help pay for your BSN? I am so full of questions. Thanks for the info. Have a Happy Thanksgiving too!
